Free Blueberry Crochet Pattern

You are going to LOVE this no-sew bluberry! It works up in less than 30 minutes and is perfect for beginners, and experienced crocheters alike!

This pattern is written in US terminology, so keep that in mind while working on your blueberry!

Materials needed:

• Blue super bulky (Weight 6) yarn
• 5mm crochet hook
• 18mm safety eyes
• Scissors
• Stitch marker (optional)
• Darning needle

 

Terminology & Abbreviations:

mr: magic ring
sc: single crochet
inc: increase
dec: decrease
flo: front loop only
blo: back loop only
slst: slip stitch
st: stitch
fo: fasten off

 

We will start with the body of the blueberry:

1. 8sc in mr [8]

2. (inc)*8 [16]

3. IN BLO: (sc, inc)*8 [24]

4-8. sc around [24] (5 rows)

9. (sc, dec)*8 [16]

Insert safety eyes between rows 6 & 7, 3 visible st apart. Start stuffing.

10. (dec)*8 [8]

Fo, finish stuffing, and sew the opening closed.

 

Attach your yarn to the flo of row 2, and crochet:

(3sc in flo of st)*16 [48]

Fo, and weave in your ends.
